They can always practice faking injuries
We honestly do need to have a massive massive blowout. Clawson normally wouldn’t run up the score but Rutgers wouldn’t take it personally as it’s somewhat expected.
I’m sure Clawson will still get a lot of backups reps if we’re cruising, but it would be nice to make a little statement before preseason voting starts for next year.
What is the best plan for parking if not tailgating? Is there an easy place to park to take the water taxi over to the stadium?
Wanted to re-ask this as I’ll be in a similar situation, basically driving in for just the game with little kids in tow
I won’t feel good about this game actually happening until kickoff.
There is plenty of parking around the stadium and parking passes available on Stub Hub.
The Water Taxi would be a better option if you’re staying on the South Bank. But if you just want to ride the water taxi, you can do that.
Thanks. We’re staying in coastal GA to make a semi beach trip out of it and driving in that morning for the game. Maybe we’ll ride it anyway, sounds like something the kids would enjoy especially if we go up 45-7 and they’re tired of me yelling.
Is anyone going to the party the night before the game?
Rutgers results from November on:
Wisconsin 52 Rutgers 3
Rutgers 38 Indiana 3 (Indiana had a massive injuries including to their #1 and #2 QBs; Indiana turned it over six times).
Penn State 28 Rutgers 0
Maryland 40 Rutgers 16
Rutgers offense is terrible. Not counting their game against Temple and an FCS opponent, Rutgers scored more than 20 once in its 10 games against Power V schools (that includes scoring 17 against Cuse). That one time Rutgers scored over 20 came against an injury decimated Indiana team who committed 6 turnovers. Rutgers offense was considerably worse than Duke. This is the worst offense WF has played this year outside of ODU and Norfolk State. Rutgers' defense is their best unit, and even so, they gave up over 50 twice and 40 to Maryland last time out. Even without the massive preparation edge, would like WF to win by 14+. Given those circumstances, WF should roll if the offense played like it did all year outside of the last half against Pitt.
I might have but after hearing about the one for the ACC Championship, I'm not wasting my money on it.
