I agree. I am just saying it still doesn't make it easy. God forbid one of my kids did something that heinous, while obviously the right move it would break me.

This is what happens when you have 19 kids. You can't be a parent to them all so they parent each other. Parents have power, so if the one of the older children has a character flaw (like this kid did) he isn't mature enough to stop himself. Sad sad situation.

Just looked it up. The Duggars had four more daughters after their oldest son was caught molesting their daughters. Geez. And this guy has a five year old daughter.

Man this is fucked up. I was watching CNN this morning and the Duggars say all has been forgiven and they are ready to move forward with their lives. Translation: TLC needs to get us back on the air as the money faucet has been shut off and there is no other way to feed all these darn kids.

This Josh Duggar really needs to be locked up and molested by some of Arkansas's worst to get a taste.

Wouldn't troopers, like other public servants, have a legal obligation to report suspected child abuse?

Yup.

And I understand their "young teenager" narrative, but he was 14/15, that's not all that young. Plus, he was molesting his SISTERS. Not like he was 5 and playing doctor with neighbor's daughter here.
 
Also possible that he was curious, for lack of a better word, given his sex "education" at home and that he's not a repeat offender.

I'm pretty sure that's it but there are plenty of curious teens who don't molest their sisters.
 
Duggars endorsed and campaigned for Huckabee in 2008 and Santorum in 2012. Will be interesting to see if either seek out their support now.
 
Everybody knows that we, as a society, cannot stop underage same-family sex or pederasty. There is no point in limiting education on these subjects to abstinence lessons. Conservatives persist in sticking their heads in the sand on this.
 
Pretty sure family density is to blame here.
