It's amazing how clueless these people are. Nobody's a fan of pedophiles. Social conservatives have already lost the battle on marriage equality and they're going to lose the battle on transgenders too. Bad news for moderate 'Pubs is that the fight over transgender rights is going to a relatively long battle and they'll still be defined and dragged down by unapologetic social conservatives like Huckabee, Palin, Bachmann, Santorum, Perry, Carson, Jindal, and Pence.
 
They'd rather say "Go Team!" than kick the pedophile and enablers off the team. It's one thing to forgive, it's another thing to support.

Seriously? You have to learn how to be horny as a 14 year old? Kid was sheltered, he was horny. He didn't have porn. Doesn't mean his dad molested him. This is such a moronic statement. There is no defense for what the young kid did, but to flippantly throw out there that he learned it from his dad who apparently we 'know' molested kids without any evidence is just idiotic and sad.

You know what I did when I was 14? I was a rampant thief. I would go and unload baseball cards from stores by the box load. I was addicted to the thrill of getting away with it. I didn't need to watch my dad to feel the thrill of taking something that wasn't mine. I was a punk kid who knew better but at the same time wasn't mature enough to know better. Kids do stupid stuff. Sometimes they learn it from their parents, sometimes they are just stupid kids. Little Dugger may have very well learned this activity from his father, but you have no idea if that is true. To accuse someone of child molestation with no evidence is just sick. Schadenfreude to the billionth power. Unreal.

It's a huge leap from horny and sheltered to MOLESTED HIS SISTERS. That's a special kind of a sick to use his position as an older brother in that way and it takes a special kind of sick to just sweep it under the rug.

You said I had no evidence. I have evidence. All 14 year olds are horny. Very few molest their sisters. I would bet a disproportionate of those 14 year olds that do molest younger kids were victims themselves.

I spent five years in a DAs office prosecuting sex crimes. In a normal investigation when these allegations come up, the police would be grilling all the kids and the parents to ensure there was no other abuse in the household. Quite possible the father did nothing. But, to not suspect or investigate, then you're just being obtuse.

Also, you just mocked me for being dumb then compared stealing to molestation. I think it's best if you stay out of this conversation before you embarrass yourself any further.

Haven't you religious conservatives been claiming for years that egregious behaviors like homosexuality and pedophilia are learned behaviors? Where the hell did he learn it?
 
No. Sin is innate. We don't need anyone to teach us how to sin. We do it well.

PH - nothing excuses the awful behavior. I was defending baseless accusations against the father. They are just throwing darts blindfolded. You shouldn't do that with something as heinous as molestation.

You can make a GREAT argument that the dad didn't handle the situation properly because we know the facts about the 'counseling' but it just bothers me that someone would call out a father for pedophilia/incest with zero evidence. Basically calling someone scum of the earth on a hunch. Pretty sad IMO.

I see where you're coming from but we know he's scum of the earth for how he deal with his son. The question how bad of scum is he. It's not a stretch to guess a child molester was molested himself.
