Judge Moore accused of sexually assaulting/pursuing underage girls in his 30s

-------
Moore was 38 when he married 24-year-old Kayla Kisor. They met a year before they married, according to Moore's autobiography, "So Help Me God."

Moore wrote that he had been invited to recite poetry at a church Christmas party and spotted his future wife in the crowd.

"Sitting with her mother on the sofa against the wall was a beautiful young woman," Moore wrote. "I learned that her name was Kayla."
---------

Ok so he was 37 and saw a hot 23 year old and knew he was going to marry her. A little creepy but whatever.

Oh wait...

------
In his book, Roy Moore said he had seen Kayla "many" years earlier, although it doesn't specify how old she was when she first caught his eye.
...
"Many years before, I had attended a dance recital at Gadsden State Junior College," Roy Moore wrote. "I remembered one of the special dances performed by a young woman whose first and last names began with the letter 'K.' It was something I had never forgotten. Could that young woman have been Kayla Kisor? Anxious to meet her, I began with the line, 'Haven't we met somewhere before?'"
--------

Ew. What was a single guy in his 20s or 30s doing at dance recital? And he remembered a "special dance" one of the girls performed?

Why would he use that as a pick up line? Ew.

------

Roy Moore wrote that he had a sense that his relationship with Kayla would be significant.

"I knew Kayla was going to be a special person in my life," Roy Moore wrote. "Long afterward, I would learn that Kayla had, in fact, performed a special dance routine at Gadsden State years before."

Kayla Moore was divorced and had a young daughter when Roy Moore married her in 1985. She was an adult when they dated and married, but she did attend school with the woman who accused Roy Moore of sexual assault in a Monday appearance orchestrated by attorney Gloria Allred. Beverly Young Nelson said she was a sophomore at Southside High School in 1977, alongside Kayla Kisor.

More women who worked at the mall have come forward about Moore's creepy behavior.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/inve...1da432-ca24-11e7-b0cf-7689a9f2d84e_story.html

Gena Richardson says she was a high school senior working in the men’s department of Sears at the Gadsden Mall when a man approached her and introduced himself as Roy Moore.
“He said, ‘You can just call me Roy,’ ” says Richardson, who says this first encounter happened in the fall of 1977, just before or after her 18th birthday, as Moore, then a 30-year-old local attorney, was gaining a reputation for pursuing young women at the mall in Gadsden, Ala. His overtures caused one store manager to tell new hires to “watch out for this guy,” another young woman to complain to her supervisor and Richardson to eventually hide from him when he came in Sears, the women say.

Richardson says Moore — now a candidate for U.S. Senate — asked her where she went to school, and then for her phone number, which she says she declined to give, telling him that her father, a Southern Baptist preacher, would never approve.
A few days later, she says, she was in trigonometry class at Gadsden High when she was summoned to the principal’s office over the intercom in her classroom. She had a phone call.
“I said ‘Hello?’” Richardson recalls. “And the male on the other line said, ‘Gena, this is Roy Moore.’ I was like, ‘What?!’ He said, ‘What are you doing?’ I said, ‘I’m in trig class.’ ”

He called a girl at school? Jesus.

Hannity is in the "delay the election so we can find out" camp. Good to know you can delay an election if your candidate is found to be shitty(er).

(yes, I sat through an hour of Hannity's whataboutism to find out).

Nothing surprises me anymore. Other than Alabama having math.

Dude, you don't read my posts, do you?

Actually I almost always read your posts. I checked back a few posts to see if that tidbit had been posted but didn't see anything.

There's way too much news/insane stories to keep up with these days. Having a hard time following what's been posted lately.

Whoa. Whoa. The internet, man. Wow.

Can the Democrats retroactively delay the 2016 election?

Can you imagine if Obama tried to delay the election to find out what's going on with Trump and Hillary?

Say what you want about the guy, but I think Roy Moore is fucking gross.

For all the law talking guys out there- can he really call himself a judge at this point?

We're having dinner tonight with my wife's cousin who is from Alabama and is an arch conservative. Should I bring up Roy Moore and try to convince her to do the right thing or should I stay away from politics with my wife's family? Hmmmm.
