Kitchen appliance shopping

yeah - we were going to go the craigslist route (which we mayyyy still do depending on what's available at the time) but I'd just as soon find a store with a zero-interest deal going and get something a little nicer that will (presumably) last ... and be delivered.

We got the badass front-loader LG units a few years ago when the kids were toddlers. Those motherfuckers are some badass motherfuckers. They'll wash the shit out of some motherfucking clothes.

Is this the short sale you were talking about awhile ago?

yarp. finally closed on 12/21. went up there and pulled out all the cabinetry and appliances from the kitchen yesterday. having the flooring re-done, and then we'll start the remodel. i'm PUMPED.

We replaced all our kitchen appliances last year. Home Depot had a good sale on LG products and we've been pleased. The dishwasher is so quiet that you wouldn't even know its running except for the power light on it. We regret paying a few hundred more for the convection oven because it doesn't seem to be any faster and we never use that feature. If you went with a regular oven, you'd probably save enough to also purchase a small deep freezer for the garage.
