It’s dumb that people use a forest fire as proof Of climate change, just like it’s dumb people use a vortex as proof it’s not happening.

Chart shows a marginal trend of increasing and strenthening storms at best, and also ignores some historical low hurricane history in the past ten years, and one 100 outlier year for intensity similar to a year in the early 1900s.

Point being let’s look at things that tell a bigger picture of warming rather than use one off events to drive hysteria for one side or another of the argument. Ice sheets and ocean levels, and global temperature meters paint a much truer and no less terrifying story than. OMG FOREST FIRE TUMP KILLS KIDS!!!111!!!

You all can laugh about cold spells and wild fire but California has had drought conditions for 7 out of the last 10 years, Australia is currently experiencing the worst drought and heatwave on record, arctic sea-ice hits a new low every year, the permafrost is no longer permanently frozen, Colorado’s high elevation alpine habitat is disappearing every year, migratory shorebirds are on average 20% smaller then they were 25 years ago,...the list goes on and on. These are the canaries in our global coal mine (apropos) and here you are laughing as they are choking on noxious gases.
