MBB Game 18: @ UVA - Bally Sports - 4:30 pm Saturday

Yeah that game with the banked three to beat us stunk of unwiped ass
 
This team is starting to get me invested, that's a good and scary feeling at the same time.
 
What a masterful coaching job by Forbes. He realized early on that Whitt and Hildreth didn’t have it today, so he used McCray when needed for some good defense. And he sat LaRavia and Williams at the right times so they didn’t foul out and were available for the key stretch at the end. Forbes also realized there was no need to ride the refs constantly, as that often backfires and results in them making call against us.

Lots of good performances today. Williamson was fantastic. His offense is almost always super efficient, and today was no different, but his defense may have been even more impressive. He held Clark to 2 points.
 
Feel like the banked in 3 UVA win was in Winston….but also remember a close game or 2 at UVA….
 
The defensive intensity in the latter part of the second half was next level. The kind of D that Tony Bennett built his reputation on. Wake gave UVA a taste of their own medicine. Now Forbes needs to figure out how to get that to happen more minutes per game.

No, lost a 12 point lead in last minute at home vs UVA. Had 99.999999 chance to win that game with a minute left and lost it.
 
Bz had 1 ACC road win in 3 years. Manning had 6 in 6 years. 7 road wins in 9 years. Can’t make this shit up.

Agreed but I didn’t like the line up we went with late in the first half.
 
Won this thing with defense the last 7 minutes. Not sure that has been said of a Wake team in the past 10 years.

Winning a game with defense is a comment more frequently associated with Tony Bennett's UVA teams.

As Forbes said, defense travels.
 
We lost by one at UVa a few years earlier.
