I don't even think a conviction would slow him down. Nothing short of death will stop him, and when he dies, he will be anointed as Saint Trump, to replace Saint Reagan in the canons of the Republicans.
Just imagine all of the kids who will be fortunate enough to attend Donald Trump High Schools around the country someday! Or, if public schools no longer exist, the Donald Trump Christian Nationalist Charter School with a curriculum designed by Liberty University.
There are big enough pockets of trumpists in almost every state to pull this off. Even on the bluest of the blue states there are thousands of trumpists.
