Men's Golf

Vandy is killing it. They started with us and are -7 already.
 
In his first 5 holes, Cameron Young had eagle, birdie, par, bogey, double bogey. Not in that order.
 
So far so good today. Detmer continues to be very consistent. Keep it around even to low single digits over par and we are definitely safe.
 
Outside of Pepperdine, the back 9 is kicking the ass of the bubble teams.
 
I told everyone that +35 would make the final eight with the ladies and maybe +39 made it ...

Everyone’s been asking where the cut line will be for the men and it looks to become +42 or more .
 
Hard to know what’s right with the huge discrepancy on SMU between golfstat and the golf channel

Lee closing in on top 5. Wolff's swing for OSU is insane. Furyk-esque but seemingly on plane coming back through impact.
 
It is a testament to the depth we have that we will advance to match play easily while getting so little out if one and two

All in for #3 now as would have to really fall apart to drop to #6. Need our top 2 to step up and start playing like it. Lee has been a beast.

With that eagle we are closer to third then seventh so it will be obvious when we start using Salty’s approach so maybe Salty would suggest we chunk a couple in the water as they may not be as obvious.

With all the negative volleyball press maybe we should disguise it a bit.

Or is it good for ratings and would golf channel secretly revel in it if we make it obvious?
 
What's the deal with college golfers walking off the green while other people are still finishing the hole in the group? Never saw that in high school, don't see it in the pros but see it in college all the time.
 
Really amazing how many twos on par 4 is this course has given uo this is like several over the course of the women's and men's tournament.
 
This course sucks.

Detmer has never finished top 5 in a collegiate event and is third alone on the back side now. Six shots back of the leader who is in trouble on the ninth.

The course designers never expected 300-325 par fours to be reached but times - they have changed ...
