Man, that reminds of the 1800's when candidates used to write out substantive policy differences and have written debates! Now, the appropriate response to that kinda thing is to say, "Wrong. You lied and should go to jail," and then half the crowd erupts, you drop the mic, walk of stage, the clip gets played BILLIONS of times on the news and social media, and then you hold a rally and people chant, "LOCK HER UP," while you smirk.

U.S. to send additional troops to Saudi Arabia to boost defenses against Iran

The Pentagon will deploy an additional 1,800 U.S. troops to Saudi Arabia, senior defense officials announced Friday, a modest increase in the U.S. military’s presence in the Middle East meant to deter aggressive Iranian actions.

The deployments include two fighter squadrons, an air expeditionary wing headquarters unit, two Patriot missile batteries and one air-defense unit operating a system known as the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense, or THAAD. The Pentagon said last month that some of those units were preparing to deploy.

Trump's interest in winding down US military presence in the Middle East was short-lived, it appears.
 
Perfect Trumpian logic. Protect the country that financed and provided people for 9/11 while allowing our heroic allies who defeated ISIS to be slaughtered.
 
Who cares if our Special Forces people die as long as Trump's 119 investments in Turkey are protected?
