What would make Trump totally crazy would be if Iran bombed a few holes at Turnberry (at night), a couple of Trump properties in Turkey (at night when no one is there) and maybe a Trump course or two other places. His partners and even Deutchebank would drop him like a hot poker.

You realize this occurred three years into Trump's presidency after he had pulled out of the US-Iran nuclear deal, threatened Iran, imposed sanctions on Iran, and imposed sanctions on any country doing business with Iran, right?

About 10% of my company is Iranian, and they all hate the people in charge of Iran. But there's a huge mess of people there that hate them too. Just such a strange political situation.

This can’t be said enough. Pulling out of the nuclear deal was the first domino to fall in this current clusterfuck.

And we still have zero idea about what our plan is. Anyone care to answer? More drone strikes and tweets of the American flag? Angus?

Trump declared economic war on Iran in spite of Iran living up to the treaty we signed with them.

Trump attacked them.

This may have been wholly justified and to the benefit of US national security despite the risks, but lying about everything and anything (including benign, obviously untrue, stupid shit) for 3 years+ has completely eroded the credibility of this administration. It's at times like these that the American people have to be able to trust the President. And nobody does (and for good reason).
 
This is basically the season 5 finale of West Wing in real time, with all liberals being Josiah Bartlett and Pubs being Leo McGarry. We don't always know how it ends!!! Our only hope is for Trump to have a heart attack.
 
Then again I think Pence is like the ultimate War Hawk, outright war with Iran is even more likely if Trump is gone.
