NFL 2020-2021 Season Superbowl LV: Tampa Bay Buccaneers, QB Tom Brady Champs!

From ESPN: A $100 money-line parlay on the Bengals (+750) and Jets (+1,000) would've paid around $10,200. Sportsbooks kicked ass this past weekend (as they typically do):

The Bengals' win over the Steelers was expensive for some bettors. A customer with William Hill's sportsbook in Iowa on Monday placed a $51,371.21 money-line bet on Pittsburgh to beat Cincinnati straight-up at -1,100 odds. The bet would've paid a net $4,670.11.

Prior to kickoff, 86% of the money bet on the point spread was on the Steelers at William Hill sportsbooks around the nation, and 90% of the dollars wagered on the money-line was riding on Pittsburgh. That money will be staying with the sportsbooks

Thus explains how they built a city in the middle of a damn desert.

And he’s never been a great dude. Tomlin will be in the HOF at the very least for holding together a big three of Ben, AB, and Bell.

He has had some tough problems with guys who aren't 100% focused on football.

The job he did keeping AB focused on football and out of trouble for that many years should get him a doctorate in psychology.

QB Dwayne Haskins of the Washington Football Team photographed maskless with strippers. He claims in his room. Others say in a club. He is now on Covid quarantine.

Apparently no respect for his coach, who just completed chemo for cancer. Also apparently wasn't going to fess up for his team mate's welfare. Maskless contact with multiple someones whose Covid status is unknown.

I predict he has played his last down for Washington.

This. As a Ravens fan and season ticket holder, I have always been impressed with Tomlin and Colbert and how they've run the Steelers. That said, they've dug themselves a serious hole for next year, similar to what NO has done with Brees and the salary cap. Ben counts $41mil against the cap next year. As I said earlier, I think the idea was to restructure it into a 2 year deal, but it's increasingly looking like he shouldn't be playing 2 more years. Even if he retires, doesn't he still count as $41mil against the cap? If so, I have no idea how they're going to keep their OTs and Dupree. The Saints and Steelers offseasons will be interesting.

If he retires, or is cut, before the 3rd day of the league year in March (when his $15 million roster bonus is due), then he would only count $22,500,000 in dead money against their cap in 2021, which is the remaining pro-rated portion of his roster bonus.

No chatter about the TD record Kamala tied today? There’s no W17 thread yet.

Pre-emptive congratulations to all Alvin Kamara owners still in their fantasy playoffs this week...what a performance.

I tuned in late and was doing something else. Did the Raiders just sit on the ball and kick the FG to go up 2 then give up a long pass and GW FG?

Raiders sat on it and did a chip shot FG. Then Fitzmagic long prayer completion + 15 yard face mask = GW FG.

Yep.

1:50 2nd down, Josh Jacobs run to the 1 (Fins were letting him score if wanted to take it)
1:05 3rd down, Raiders take a knee, take it down to 0:23 and kick FG to go up 2 vs. potentially going up 7 with a TD/2 point conversion and ~1:00 left
