NFL Week 8

Not sure how you'd do it otherwise, but I hate offsetting penalties. Offense holds and defense pulls out a knife and kills someone. Offsetting penalties.

Finally back home. Pleased to see the Cowboys up at the half. How bout em?

Patriots finally decided to wake up.

The Patriots still aren't very good, but the answer to "how have they beat teams this year" is: Brady is still capable of flipping a switch at any time, and even our hobbled defense doesn't completely suck. Unbelievable. Brady's decline is depressing, but the dude can still throw it every so often.

And all of a sudden it's 17-17 in New England. Two Patriot TDs in less than 2 minutes.

FUMBLE REGGIE BUSH

Thanks again, Reggie!

I was there. No big deal.

Wow Dez Bryant getting all in Romo's shit.

hahaha -- Cowboys call a timeout coming out of the 4th quarter break. Amazing.

Great coaching, coach.

What an obscenely ridiculous call in the Miami-NE game. Brady fumbles and a Miami player stetches out and ends up batting the ball backwards. NE recovers about 20 yards behind the line of scrimmage, but they call Miami for illegally batting the ball, giving NE a first down and 10 yards from the line of scrimmage. The Patriots promptly score afterwards. If that is the rule, it needs to be changed, because it is stupid. You can't even say he blatantly batted it, because he was stretching for it... maybe he was trying to pull it in but couldn't.

Why is batting a loose ball illegal anyway? Punters swat/kick loose balls out of play on bad snaps all the time.
