We got to this shitshow because our country is full of complete morons who cannot or will not follow basic instruction and love to reject science in the name of FREEDOM and JEEBUS

I’m trying to figure out how it’s going to be a disaster if kids don’t go to school in person but it won’t be a disaster for a lot of kids to have to quarantine due to exposure or illness during the school year.

Let's just remember that three months ago 2&2 was on here asking if it's really necessary to shut the economy down for "worst case" %.574 percent of a densely populated area dying while pleading with other posters on here to recognize that it's not simply "ignorant rubes" who want to return to normal in a reasonable fashion.

Since this post we've had 2.8 million more cases in America and 97,000 more deaths.

At the beginning of June, 2&2 responded to someone posting an article that the virus seemed to be losing its potency by saying the media now has to move on and focus on something other than this "milkwich." An additional 45k people have died in America since he made this post (and 100k people had already died in America). The number of reported cases in America since he made this post have doubled to over 3.7 million.

Three weeks later 2&2 posted that he knows "several families" who have "gotten [coronavirus] out of the way" and that corona parties are "nothing new." He also made multiple posts about NC's declining infection rate and appeared to speculate that the curve would remain flattened and again referred to the virus as a media "milkwich"

A week after that 2&2 made a post comparing corona to drinking and driving and speculated as to why we haven't shut down society until people stop killing others by drinking and driving.

Last week 2&2 gloated on here about taking a vacation to one of the nation's top 10 hot spots for the coronavirus with 9 other families and would be going out to eat like normal.

Fuck 2&2 and the entire bus he rode in on. He's a piece of shit who doesn't care about those around him unless it directly impacts him, his pocketbook, or his own well being. These are the people we live with. These people are the reason that we are not able to curb this pandemic like almost every other first world nation in the world. These people are complete pieces of shit.

Has this been addressed yet - for someone that works in an athletic department, how does Rafi know so much about C19? Is he a trainer?
 
Think of all the ridiculousness citizens of the US have had to put up with in the last few months:

It will just go away
It’s a mild virus
The flu is worse
Take hydroxychloroquine
Take azithromycin
Use disinfectants and UV light in the body
Physicians are fudging death certificates
People die of car accidents and it gets counted as COVID
Masks decrease oxygen
Masks cause CO2 retention
Distancing doesn’t work
People aren’t really distancing because I saw some people working on lawns
Let’s follow the Sweden model
I don’t know anyone with the virus
The people I know with the virus didn’t die
People die of car accidents too
We have more cases because we do more testing
And my absolute personal favorite, just eat apples!

All this garbage instead of taking it seriously, following the science, and planning.

Well, it would come with the same level of denial that would cause someone to need to ignore the the overwhelming influence that right wing politics has on our current lack of success handling COVID-19.
