We simply don't have enough talent to compete It is going to be a long road back for the deacs and NIL doesn't help their chances. That being said ND is their normal overrated self. They are not a top team. Sam had to go and made out great from NIL but he has been a disappointment for ND and he hasn't really done anything to improve his NFL stock.
