Do the Spurs really need to trade Patty Mills to sign LMA and Danny Green? I guess they must because it makes no sense. Mills was critically important the last two playoff years with Parker banged up.

i think it depends on how low manu and duncan go. then again this is a year that it's really worth it to pay the tax since a team won't be a repeat offender the following years.

tax isn't the motivation if its just clearing enough space to fit a max LMA

Manu needs to go. Duncan has enough in the tank to start at C and play 60-65 games. Replacing Splitter will be important.

right. two separate thoughts.

if manu and duncan went low i think they would have cap room without a trade. might need to release joseph or someone else. and meant to say most teams should not be overly worried about resigning people and going over into tax territory this year.

he does. banes was improving towards the end of the year but don't think that's enough. they'll need another defensive big to block shots and play d so LMA can do what he does.
