Official 2022-23 College Basketball Thread: UCONN - One Shining Moment

Who will win a game first? Louisville or FSU?

Louisville gets App St tonight and should win. After that, however, they have a tough few weeks ahead of them.

FSU has Florida next... Pretty much a toss-up given the game is at FSU, but I'd be on the Gators there.

Louisville losing to App State
Syracuse losing to Colgate
WF in a battle with Utah Valley

ACC Basketball!

Wait they called off that Louisville buzzer beater? Looked good to me and then I turned it off.

If Monsanto could learn to get his shots in the flow of the offense, instead of forcing everything, he might be really good.

Nobody wants to watch this stupid Michigan State/Kentucky game go into overtime. We need to watch the CFP Rankings show.

Some random thoughts from last night...

That Louisville loss is the kind of loss that can break your spirit... Things could get really ugly there this season. Wish we had BHH... He is playing well.
Syracuse sucks. We'll still have trouble with them. Mintz probably made the right call going there given he's getting a ton of minutes and shots.
Miami rolled last night (against terrible Florida A&M) with Wong scoring 5 points (1-7 shooting) and Pack scoring 4 points (1-6 shooting). Neither hit a 3 (0-5).
NCSU rolled over FIU. Smith only 1-8 from 3, but Morsell was 6-7 (26 points) and Joiner was 6-8 (26 points). That's some good shooting.

Why the "Phil Knight" Invitational and Legacy instead of Nike? Because they're not all Nike schools?

Not a terrible loss, but Cincy got beat at Northern Kentucky tonight 64-51.

Had zero players in double figures.

Is this arena on campus ?

Because there are no pro sports in KY, college basketball is their pro sport between UK and UL. Yum Center is basically like an NBA arena for downtown Louisville.

Holy shit. Just came here to post this. Wes Miller just got smacked hard. This is just as "crosstown" as the Crosstown Shootout between Xavier and UC.

After scoring 40 points in the first half, UC had 11 (eleven!!!!) points in the second half.

UC fans are going to be irate.

This is a mind bending loss. Wes Miller replaced NKUs coach who left to coach UC and then Miller gets beaten down by NKUs new coach.
