Official 2022 College Football Thread: Georgia is Back to Back Champions !!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if they could have kept it quiet and played with the full team. In the snowballs chance in hell they won, just take the forfeit down the road.

Auburn AD resigns with about one year left on his contract.

Harsin better start winning some games quickly.

Harsin is done. Auburn fired Chizik two years after he won the Natty. Bama has set expectations so high that they are impossible to meet even if Harsin was out-performing expectations, which he is not. Miraculous that he survived last season. Poor Auburn. They think should be on par with Bama, but it never works out that way. Also, because they are traditional rivals, Auburn plays UGA every year while Bama plays TN. Understand that tradition is every thing in that region, but keeping that year by year rotation really screws Auburn and TN. Tennessse hasn't beaten Bama since 2006. Auburn has beaten UGA once in the last 8 meetings.

The AD will want to hire his own coach. Harsin was not a good fit.

Statement from former Duke AD, where they let coaches suck for 5 or 6 years:

Nebraska-Northwestern in Dublin is a pretty good game. Northwestern up 17-14 with 25 sec left in the 1st half. Northwestern just had a TD drive where they went for it on 4th and 1 from their own 40.

Nebraska is the worst tackling team I’ve ever seen. And I watched our game last year vs Army.

Northwestern 14-0 since Frost's dumbass onside kick.

Nebraska had all the momentum and just farted it away with that onside kick.

Thompson looked good in the first half, but he has fallen off.

Scott Frost sucks out loud. There's aggressive coaching and then there's desperation. That onside kick and pulling your QB1 this early in the season are the latter. Other than money, I have no idea why Nebraska brought him back this year.

Fitzgerald is too conservative on 3d down with a QB like Helinski.

Really poor management of the end of the first half by Frost as well. 3rd & 4 is not the down and distance to use timeouts to attempt to save time on the clock, especially against a methodical team. That extra time def helped NW get in the end zone

WOW! Nebraska losing to an academic school is always satisfying.

So is Frost allowed on flight back to Nebraska with team or is he fired soon and he has to find his own way back from Ireland???

Nebraska didn't score a single point and may not even have entered Northwestern territory after that onside kick.

Edit: They entered Northwestern territory then threw a pick.

Nebraska Drives after the Onside Kick

3 plays, 3 yards Punt
3 plays, 8 yards Punt
6 plays, 38 yards Interception
4 plays, 15 yards Punt
3 plays, 4 yards Punt
4 plays, 17 yards Interception

They probably won't even let him in the locker room. He should be glad that the game is halfway around the world. He might not be safe in the US.
