Official 2023 College Football Thread: Michigan Recognized as National Champions of Cheating !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Salter compares with Jamie Newman. Loved having a QB that could brutalize a defense with option runs, and stay strong in the short pocket.
That is what a guy like Newman gave us. He could stand in the pocket that is close to the LOS in the slow mesh and deliver the ball. I've mentioned it many times, but he made a play when we beat Duke down in Durham the year he took over as starter that illustrates that. We were inside the 10, slow mesh, he pulls the ball has Duke defenders on him, but at his size stood there and delivered a TD pass. None of the QB's we've got and Sam Hartman for that matter could/can do that. From a size and athletic make up, Newman was perfect for our offense. Hard for us to find those guys though.

Salter already transferred from Tennessee and this is his 3rd year at Liberty. So that's unlikely from both the NCAA and Wake perspectives. He's also listed at 6-1/200, quite a bit smaller than Newman and closer to Hartman.

Not out of the realm of possibility he could graduate from that Diploma mill in 3 years + 2 summers and Wake could throw him in the Masters of Liberal Arts program or whatever it's called

Virtually unbelievable stat from The Athletic. Jimbo has a 96% winning percentage with Jameis Winston as QB and 68% without. I think we all realize that Winston was a huge contributor to his success and ultimately mega (dumb) deal with A&M but holy shit.

Tulsa pulling out all of the stops to get a crowd for tonight's Rice at Tulsa game (IIRC, these are two, maybe the only 2, FBS schools with a smaller undergrad enrollment than WF):

Will Tulsa be able to draw a crowd in excess of 1,243?

Here's what happens when FSU and UNC are good and Miami is presentable. Tough for the league that Clemson took a step back, but I doubt Clemson viewership has declined much.

Tickets for that Tulsa game start at $4. Not sure if that includes the beers though.

Two somewhat watchable games tonight.

Tulsa -3.5 and JMU -3.5

So really, shouldn't UM be forced to forfeit any game for which they sent in-person scouts ? Obviously they're accused of doing it this season, probably for past and future opponents.

I guess they weren't able to do it against TCU because they didn't know who the opponent would be, but they finally beat tOSU a couple of times. Is this what enabled them to do it ?

Even worse, Harbaugh makes Ryan Day look like a sympathetic character FFS.

Harbaugh is such an odd person. Had to know that this would eventually be discovered and for what? Michigan has played absolutely no one this year. They stole signs to beat who?

Bowling Green?
Rutgers?
Nebraska?
Minnesota?
Indiana?
ECU?

This week's opponent, Michigan State?

You really think this started September 2, 2023 ?
