Official 2023 College Football Thread: Michigan Recognized as National Champions of Cheating !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bahamas Bowl will not be in The Bahamas. Bad news for Deacon fans if we get to 5-7 and CUSA or the MAC can't fill their spot.

Maybe Groves Stadium at Allegacy/BB&T Field will host. Winston hops in mid-December.

Liberty hosted that Virgin Islands bball tournament we were in. maybe they can be the Bahamas too.

No, but Michigan got caught this year; so, Harbaugh sent minions to an Indiana games to steal the signs of 2-4 (0-3) Hoosiers or Minnesota? Why? It's psychopathic behavior.
'Teams are normally provided extensive video footage to scout opponents. At issue, according to sources, is whether Michigan used unnamed individuals to attend games of both scheduled opponents and possible College Football Playoff opponents in an effort to gather information on the signs they use to call both offensive and defensive plays.'

Sounds like it includes future opponents as well.

Won't be surprised when Harbaugh cuts these guys loose and claims he had no knowledge that this was going on.

His first statement was about penalties; don't think his statement that "There are some things going on out there that aren't right, as well" was about the penalties. If the opposing defense is calling out where the play is going pre-snap, that would be relayed to the coaches.

If there's any evidence this happened in the Rutgers game, or any other game this season, that game should absolutely be forfeited.

Years back under Grobe we were bowl eligible but not enough bowl slots, so there was a semi-effort to get an additional regular season game approved with us and Hawaii in W-S in December; something about Hawaii getting an exception to play an extra game every few years IIRC.
Also, ECU/Greeneville a few years back had billboards promoting the establishment of a BBQ Bowl but it never got beyond the exploratory stage.

But I do like the idea of playing at the Citadel's stadium in Charleston.

I vaguely remember that we had the same record as USF the Seattle Bowl year and they were pissed we got it over them. or they had a better record, can't remember.

This is from last November.

Hope Michigan gets hammered, but they won't. Venables had an army of grad assistants, consultants, etc. at Clemson doing this and nothing ever happened. Was particularly sweet, as that Eleven Warriors post mentions, when tOSU murdered the Clemson defense by huddling and snapping the ball quickly after getting to the line in 2020. Not sure why they haven't done it vs. Michigan in recent years.

The whole concept of "The Michigan Way" and "Michigan Men" is so comical after they're proven to be slimeballs time and time again.

So really, shouldn't UM be forced to forfeit any game for which they sent in-person scouts ? Obviously they're accused of doing it this season, probably for past and future opponents.

I guess they weren't able to do it against TCU because they didn't know who the opponent would be, but they finally beat tOSU a couple of times. Is this what enabled them to do it ?

Even worse, Harbaugh makes Ryan Day look like a sympathetic character FFS.
Ryan Day may have been born on third base, but Harbaugh is stealing home.

According to the article, they did scout for the future CFP opponents. They probably didn't believe TCU would be in the CFP. LOL.

'Schiano’s halftime comments were related to an officiating issue and not related to suspected sign stealing, a person with knowledge of the situation told NJ Advance Media. But that has not stopped the clip of the comments going viral on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday afternoon.'
