Official 2023 College Football Thread: Michigan Recognized as National Champions of Cheating !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would obviously never happen but Harbaugh to Bama would be one of the funniest things ever.

Bama people are going to lose their minds. Seems like there's no succession plan in place.

Lanning, Kiffin, Smart, Sark. Otherwise, they riot.

Pete Thamel mentioned James Franklin (lol) and Marcus Freeman (Lolol)

Why would Sark leave Texas? He has them as a top 4 team, QB of the future and more fertile recruiting ground. Without Saban Bama isn’t what it was.

Meh things are about to get a lot harder for Texas. Alabama will take a meaningful hit without Saban but it’s still a step above all but 2-3 programs.

And Texas is one of those 2 or 3. Texas going to the SEC next year is going to big for their recruiting and Texas has the money and resources to match Bama.

IDK I agree with Timmy. He’d be a fool to leave. Same for Kirby. Dabo is no longer fun. Seems like Lanning or ???

All kudos to Saban for rebuilding Bama to the top of college football, but Bama's success has been so great that it has caused people to forget how... mediocre is unfair, but not elite is fair, before Saban:

In the six coaches and 25 seasons between Bear and Saban, Bama won 9 or fewer games 16 times. Bama actually had a losing record 5 times. Think about Alabama going 5-7. During that stretch Bama finished the season in top 4 (essentially CFP qualifier territory) only once in 25 years. Alabama is a small population state, and although football crazy, it does not produce the football talent that GA, FL, TX or even LA or Ohio does. Not saying Bama will suck, but it's considered an elite job, only because of Saban's amazing run. The wrong hire, and Bama becomes... Auburn.
