OFFICIAL Elizabeth Warren is awesome thread

no kidding. glad insufferable tuffalo is back.

It's clear she would have been very competitive especially if Bernie bowed out to support her.

Warren would have beaten Hillary if Bernie made it a close-ish contest.

maybe EW should've run for president

Agreed. If you're going to talk about Donald Trump's success, let's talk about the culpability of the democrats in running a terrible, arrogant, unlikeable, and ethically bankrupt candidate against him.

If by democrats, you mean the national party machine, yes. If by democrats, you mean voters, no. When you really look at it, democrats only had two of their own to choose from out of the 5.

The Democrats don't have much of a bench and the bench they did have deferred to Hillary. I'm guessing the logic was that she was the most experienced person to go against Jeb or any other current or former governor likely to come out of the pack. They didn't want to cannibalize women so that took several off the board as well.

Joe Biden is actually qualified to run for President (unlike either nominee). If he announced he was running on a third party this afternoon, he'd be the best candidate still running.

Agreed. As far as I'm concerned the best case scenario is for Hillary to get indicted sooner rather than later and for Biden to get drafted to run.

We've had this discussion a lot, but to call Hillary "unqualified to run for President" is about the dumbest thing you can say about her.

She's met the age and citizenship requirements, admittedly.

"Russian re-boot" failed spectacularly.

She's to Libya what Michael D. Brown is to Louisiana.

She's compromised classified materials --- intentionally ---- got caught doing so, and then lied about it.

She is losing primaries after wrapping up the nomination to a guy who isn't even in the party conducting the primary.

She was an "aye" in the Iraq War vote (that even Trump was against). Then she was against the Surge (that worked). 0-2 on the scorecard.

She's going to do exactly what her Wall Street owners have been overpaying her for "speeches" to do since her husband left office.

Also, I hear things didn't go so well when the famous 3:00 a.m. call came in to her about a certain raging protest at a diplomatic outpost in eastern Libya, and then lied about it.

This passes standards?
