What has everyone’s experience with ship sticks been? I’m kinda tired of playing rentals when I travel and twin toddlers makes flying with clubs prohibitive.
Used it to ship three sets of clubs from the east coast to Pebble Beach and back. No issues, but did have to allow for 4-5 days travel time on each side.

Used it for a scotland trip in 2022. Had to send about a week ahead, but stuck a smart tag in the bag abd was able to track the whole way and they were waiting for me at Castle Stuart when I arrived.

Son and his buddies came out for Masters week and played Tree Farm and Old Barnwell, two of the newer private tracks in the Aiken area.
While they liked Old Barnwell, they gave Tree Farm, Zac Blair's masterpiece, A+.

I've heard great things about Tree Farm too. Blair has taken a ton of shit of all his fundraising for The Buck Club out in Utah and then doing this project. Then he had a bit of a falling out with the original architects.

Leave for Scotland tomorrow, playing Royal Aberdeen, Trump Aberdeen, Cruden Bay and then four rounds at Royal Dornoch. My dad can only do 18 holes a day but I'll probably try to get in a round at Brora or Carnegie Club.

Great trip!
I've been wanting to do that mid coast trip and then up into the Highlands. Those are some great courses you've picked out. I hear golspie and Nairn are good too. Have fun

This sounds awesome. Hope you have the time of your life over there.

Nairn is great (one of my favorite halfway houses), Golspie not really worth playing. I've only played Cruden Bay once and it instantly went in my top ten courses in the world so I can't wait to go back. I go to Dornoch every couple of years, easily my favorite course.

I had an Ireland and Scotland trip planned for the first time in 2020.

Ireland: Ardglass, Royal County Down, Portstewart, Royal Portrush, Portmarnock
Scotland: Elie, Castle, New course, Old course, Kingsbarn

Both got cancelled, obviously. And I have yet to have an opportunity to try to repeat those trips. Enjoy it!

Don’t know if it’s been mentioned but looks like the county(?) took over management from Rattcliffe for the public courses down in Charlotte

Amazing trip!

I'd add in a round at Castle Stuart (or whatever Cabot has renamed it).
