Official Russian Election Interference Thread

Is it not at least a little concerning that Russia, the most powerful nation-state adversarial to US interests, intervened in our election to help a certain candidate get elected, and now that candidate is poised to have the most friendly relationship with Russia than any administration since before the Cold War?

Shouldn't we at least be a little wary that this will not go well?
 
On another note, IF members of Trump's team were in contact with Russia during the campaign and were encouraging Russia to hack the DNC or coordinating Russian interference with the campaign, how does that compare to Watergate, (assuming that Trump knew about it)?

Where's the "if"? Trump himself told Russia to go find Hillary's emails on national television
 
FBI totally dropped the ball on this. They knew Russia was trying to hack the DNC for months, and they never sent an agent to the DNC HQ. Which is like a mile from the FBI office.

You could ask a lot of dead civilian bodies in Aleppo, but I'm not sure they would answer you. I'm not sure that Assad would either.
