OFFICIAL Windy’s Wonderful World of Wearables (Uniform News and Discussion)

The media was very desirous that black uniforms do well.
They had them two years ago. They got rid of them last year because of the two helmet policy and they wanted to have the Kelly Green. Expect black to come back next year when the NFL allows three helmets (only teams with new unis can have three this year…Texans, Broncos, Jets and Lions)

As posted on the WF baseball thread, BC is debuting its alternate yellow baseball uniforms today against the Deacs.

It was a deep cut reference.

@WindyCityDeac complaining that he's bored at his lame duck job but hasn't posted his favorite team's uni update to this thread yet this morning. Smh.

Circling back to the city connect uniforms, the Eagles had their flag based uniforms for one game back in like 2010. Kevin Curtis was on the team then.

i rarely like black jerseys for teams that don't have black as a primary color like the raiders and the white sox
It is a fair question as to what the White Sox's original primary colors are. A lot of uniform variations, but over the history, blue is probably the most consistent color, though I doubt they move from the 1991 forward uniforms anytime soon:

They won’t. Reinsdorf feels they look classic.

Personally I’m a fan of the early 70’s red and light blue

The current White Sox look has been in place longer than any other uniform and logo combo in the teams history - at this point it doesn't "look" classic, it is classic.

Lions new uniforms. Back to classic block numerals. Blue Helmet now paired with Black alternate jersey. No more all “silver” look.
