Now as the article points out, Nancy could have played hardball with this and attempted to own the Pubs, but there's a particular urgency here. And we know that Pubs are never embarrassed by not doing the right thing and Dems always face the blowback for not getting something done.

Man found with Gillum at South Beach hotel room identifies as ‘pornstar performer’

A Democratic party star is facing questions about being alone and inebriated in a Mondrian South Beach Hotel room with a friend who once purported to be “a pornstar performer” online and who ended up hospitalized over a suspected drug overdose.

It all began when Aldo Mejias, a 56-year-old unlicensed physician, who lives near Coral Gables, was so afraid for Travis Dyson’s life that he was forced to call 911.

In a Rent Men profile, Dyson advertised his services as a gay male escort. On social media, he shared public videos and photos showing he is proud of his chiseled body.

Mejias told police officers he entrusted his credit card to Dyson, who also identifies himself on social media as a registered nurse. Dyson allegedly rented room 1107 about 4 p.m. Thursday.

Mejias told police officers he arrived to the room about 11 p.m., and he found Dyson alone with Andrew Gillum, the former mayor of Tallahassee and a former Democratic gubernatorial candidate who interacted with celebrities and was even compared to former President Barack Obama.

Sucks that a good man like Gillum withdraws from public life while a shithead like Matt Gaetz runs for and stays in public office. But that's the difference between accountable Democrats and Republicans.

Seems a lot more complicated than just giving people money.
 
I've started seeing posts on Facebook from Trumpites bragging that if wasn't for Trump people might not be on the verge of getting a $1,000 check from the government. These are also the same people who frequently make chain posts calling all Democrats socialists who want to bankrupt the country and give taxpayer-funded handouts to undeserving people. Go figure.
 
 
It's not that amazing. Republicans don't go for much if they're not in charge. But if they're in charge and they think it's good for them, they'll do just about anything.

What's funny is Trump supporters will give him credit for it and Dems in the know will credit Yang. It helps that Yang is on CNN now promoting his ideas. I'm curious about stopping it once people get used to it.
