I'm surprised we haven't heard any follow up from Brad about Donald rolling back Obama-era regulations scaling back gun ownership for people when they were deemed mentally incapable to handle their own benefit payments (requiring a representative payee to handle them).

Everything to him is a campaign event. He loves those rallies as they boost his fragile ego. It's all he knows, really. Being dignified and nonpartisan at these types of tragedies is not in his makeup. I read that on the flight to Dayton he actually spent much of his time tweeting insults about Biden and others. He's not there to make people feel better and console the victim's families and be a unifying symbol like previous presidents, he's there for the PR and to promote himself. I still remember Reagan consoling the families of the Challenger crew after it exploded. Whatever you think of his politics, Reagan was terrific at moments like that. Doing something like that is utterly beyond Trump.
