No women. Geez.

Well, with those views he should fit right in with Trump, most of his cabinet and other aides, and the GOP Congressional leadership, especially McConnell. The GOP is all one big happy family now. #maga!

Cruelty is the point. The Republican mission has gone beyond simply making sure taxpayers don't get the services we pay for. It's just straight up cruelty.

Could put this in the new socialist thread, but I’ll put it here. Says more about Republican nuttiness.

The Pubs only kept the Senate because of the crazy math of like 85% of the senate seats up this go round were democratic seats. But 2020 and 2022 wont be as kind. Olds will die off, the country is getting more diverse. Assuming we don't get in too big of a war, Trump could be doing long-lasting damage to the republican party for 30+ years. Outside of the judicial appointments, will the past 4 years be worth it?

That’s why they’re trying to restrict voting rights and access to the polls.

Meh. I don't think that will hold up.

Highly doubtful with Trump on the ballot, IMO.

You may be right, but the GOP nominating a perverted loon like Moore is probably the only hope that Jones has of holding that seat, and as you said, even that may not be enough in a presidential election year. If the GOP nominates anyone with a fairly clean record, Jones probably has no shot at all, imo.
