Ongoing US GOP Debacle Thread: Seditious Republicans march toward authoritarianism

Isn't that the gun chick that works for Infowars?

Oh man, just checked her wiki, I didn't realize she was the head of the Turning Point chapter that protested safe spaces by wearing diapers.

I have to believe that selling those Trump is King shirts on a website called Liberty Hangout is tongue in cheek

You’d hope. Freedom and liberty for these people is about lack of responsibility for others and actively oppressing others. Which does line up with how it was defined in the founding documents. That’s the American paradox. How do we get to liberty and justice for all when liberty and justice have always benefitted some people over others?

Trump campaign finance chair and over-the-top RNC speaker Kimberly Guilfoyle left Fox News after one of her female assistants filed a 42-page complaint with Fox executives accusing Guilfoyle of repeatedly sexually harassing her. According to this New Yorker article, Fox News quietly paid the woman a multimillion dollar out-of-court settlement. The article summarizes the woman's complaint against Guilfoyle by writing that

"...the assistant alleged that Guilfoyle, her direct supervisor, subjected her frequently to degrading, abusive, and sexually inappropriate behavior; among other things, she said that she was frequently required to work at Guilfoyle’s New York apartment while the Fox host displayed herself naked, and was shown photographs of the genitalia of men with whom Guilfoyle had had sexual relations. The draft complaint also alleged that Guilfoyle spoke incessantly and luridly about her sex life, and on one occasion demanded a massage of her bare thighs; other times, she said, Guilfoyle told her to submit to a Fox employee’s demands for sexual favors, encouraged her to sleep with wealthy and powerful men, asked her to critique her naked body, demanded that she share a room with her on business trips, required her to sleep over at her apartment, and exposed herself to her, making her feel deeply uncomfortable.

As serious as the draft complaint’s sexual-harassment allegations were, equally disturbing was what the assistant described as a coverup attempt by Guilfoyle, whose conduct was about to come under investigation by a team of outside lawyers."

It looks like Guilfoyle belongs to the always-growing list of Trump's "best people" that he's hired to work for him. Seems like she's a good fit for this administration.

Telling on themselves by identifying with the villain again.

Guess Nicholas didn't finish the biography of Mussolini he was reading

Yep. Given what happened to Mussolini at the end of WW2, that's probably not someone that he wants to compare Trump to.

They embrace the villainy but not the consequences.
