No, because no one actually takes responsibility for their actions. And the founding fathers apologize for the dumb laws they created.

Sounds like somebody’s still bitter over the whole owning other humans and then creating a governing system that ensures that even when they’re granted their freedom they’ll still have to deal with at least a couple centuries of repression. Geez. Let it go, man.
 
In this thread, posters forget that lawyer includes non-litigators as well.

Transactional lawyers tend not to incur as much wrath.
 
A lawyer is a lawyer, just like a serial killer is still a serial killer even though the interview with the neighbors claim he was a good man and good neighbor.

Personal injury lawyer fees should be commensurate to the amount of work performed, not just a flat 30-40% contingency fee. Has always bugged me. And then there would be less ambulance chasers!
