Press Conference: 6 PM on Tuesday, 6:30 "Mann The Quad"

Gonna be battling with the concert going on at Manchester Plaza tomorrow.
 
I'm going to roll the campus barbershop in honor of Dean Shore
 
Why didn't they do any of this for Clawson? I think it just goes to show that this isn't the hire we wanted and they're trying to hype it up. Ultimately, I think tomorrow will fall flat.

Also, was just texted by a faculty member that they have buttons that say "Mann the Quad" and "DMan (or DMann, not sure which) Deacs." That second one is lol bad.
 
Clawson was hired during exam week and students were gone shortly thereafter.

It would have taken Clawson off the recruiting trail as well.

Edit: Something like this after National Signing Day would have been a good idea.

There were a bunch of stuff with Claw interacting with the students at the library, etc.

Yeah. He brought doughnuts to kids studying in the library. That's a better fit for exam week than a big media event on the Quad.

Maybe he should have brought a healthier snack like carrots or bananas to the studying cheerleaders/dance team, right?

Was told they wanted to do it before recruiting opens back up
 
Danny Manning just got a shout out on Mike and Mike as one of the four guys in recent memory that were far and away the dominant player on their team to lead them to a NC. (Napier, K. Walker, 'Melo, Manning)

There's also a performance by the WS and GSO symphonies/choirs in Wait Chapel at 7:30. Campus/the quad is going to be a cluster.
