Prime Time and the Colorado Football Experiment

So of the 53 player who transferred, 37 were considered D1 caliber by other coaching staffs, and this was from a team that had 1 win that season.
To parse more finely,
15 to other P5 schools.
Twenty-two (22!) went to G-5 schools.
13 to FCS/D2.
So 85 scholarship players.
32 stayed.
15 other P5 schools
47 total P5 level guys when he arrived. That is a two deep plus three specialists.

Is Colorado football winning more because they hired Deion Sanders?

Well duh….

Haters will hate.
Seriously. Is this still an experiment? Why are people upset that he got rid of players from a 1-11 team? Isn't it his job to turn the program around?

Deion is going to rub people the wrong way as a coach the same reason he did as a player-- because he's a dickhead. But he was hired to turn it around at CU and has certainly embraced the side-effect of NIL, which is sending kids off with a bit more than a kindly nudge. Whether he can coach or not remains to be seen. Even with their horrible finish to the season and even considering their early successes were more likely due to the lack of any game tape and respect coming from their opponents, they were objectively better simply because the games were closer. But you should be better after 1-11. Reaffiliation with the Big 12-- even sans OU and UT-- should benefit the program, as it restores some recruiting ties to the state of Texas.

Will Shedeur be playing at the end of the 2024 season or sidelined and on cruthes?
Depends on how improved that OL is. It was atrocious last season.

So I figure New England is the favorite to get Travis Hunter because they won't need a QB.

What's the difference between Ukraine and Colorado?

One's about foreign aid, the other's about 4-8.
Why are you so obsessed with Deion? I mean I could care less about how well Colorado does. The only really interesting things about them are his kid is probably the 1st QB off the board, and Hunter might be the best college CB I've ever seen. (And I was a huge fan of Sauce at Cincy.)

Sanders goes after Beck and Ewers in most serious projections at this point.

The last I saw was Sanders between Beck and Ewers. I like Sanders more as a finished product than I do Beck at this point, but I'm really looking forward to watching more of Beck next season. And I think Ewers made a great decision to stay at Texas. I like him but am not sure he would have been a day 2 pick considering where Rattler went. And while I don't think a CB has ever been the 1st non-QB off the board, Hunter could be that guy.

I agree that Ewers needs another year but I would have taken him before Nix based on talent and Penix based on age.

BTW, Deion had two toes amputated a couple of years ago.
