Hugh Hewitt on MSNBC a few minutes ago saying he doesn't think Trump is a racist or bigot--nor are most of his supporters. He says they are just "indifferent" to how they sound, or unaware of how what they say may be perceived or how it might affect others. Or negatively impact the Trump/Republican broader agenda.
Trump isn't a racist. He's an egotistical opportunist. People are tools.
He thinks he wins with the white supremacists. If he thought he'd do better with others, he'd drop the nazis like he did Flynn.
Trump hasn't even called Heather Heyer's mother. I believe this only time in at least the past fifty years a POTUS has been so callous as not to make this call. Trump is devoid of human empathy and class.

I think he's a racist.
What call? A call to the parents of someone murdered? Did Obama make 762 calls to Chicago parents alone in 2016? There are plenty of legitimate things to criticize Trump about, stupid shit like this just causes people to tune out all the criticism.

I don't understand how someone can come to the conclusion that the President is not racist.
Palma said it was just a couple of dudes in Nazi stuff though. He also said that Nazis and White Supremacists have killed as many people "as a tree".
