Well that was the initial rumor that dropped the same day as Panama in Orlando. Then twitter was like ummmm there's 120k ticos in NYC, do we really want a must win away match? Haven't heard anything since

so at this point, if the U.S. can get 6 points out of the two home fixtures and one point (total) out of trips to Honduras and T&T, and if Panama lose at Azteca (or home vs. CR), U.S. advances
