This would feel so much more manageable if those long putts on 18 didn’t drop. 5.5-2.5 would still be a tall order, but 6.5-1.5 just feels impossible if we are being honest here
 
Xander made one birdie the entire afternoon round, and it didn't even cut Morikawa. Can't really beat -10 through 15 from the Euros, but still. Koepka finished strong, but made zero birdies until 14. Scottie made 7. Clark made 7 birdies as well, but the bogeys he and Homa both made on 15 and 17 sunk the match.

Rumor over here is most of US team has COVID.

Don't want to hear this covid bullshit after the fact. Sometimes you just take a whuppin.

A realistic take is that we were rolling in the afternoon and had a legit shot at 5-3 going into tomorrow, and got smoked on 17 and 18. It's a long running pattern for our teams on the road.
 
Bottom line, our guys sat for 4 weeks. Shaving USA in your hair isn't gonna make you play better.
 
Jesus. 3 of 4 out for US all sliced it into the deep rough on #1. Um, maybe play it safe and go with 3 wood off the tee. A lot better to have a longer 2nd shot than doinking off a tree on 2nd shot. Euros must be laughing their asses off.
