Not really the same thing. He corrected Trumps dumb assertion that judges are biased by who appointed them vs using right wing talking points that took Schumer’s comments out of context to rebuke him as dangerous. It’s almost as if Roberts is biased.

the originalist reading of these sentences = incite violence

Paying the price for Republicans defaults to violence. Pretty easy to actually use reading comprehension and realize that Schumer is just saying he (or the next Dem Senate Maj Leader) will do what McConnell has done for a decade now and pack the courts full of people that will actually do their job.
