Is there really an argument that this is a ruse and people sent it to themselves? Because they didn't go off? Has anyone actually seen the success rate of these bombs?

I was a couple of blocks from the dude who blew himself up a times square last year on accident, or the one that blew up in Chelsea a couple of years ago where only one of two worked - read up on these homemade things, they don't always work right, but that doesn't make them any less deadly. Bunch of morbid fucks out there.

I admire 22's optimism/naivety sometimes. Everything is so so great for everybody, the Democrats should just keep running with the same losing strategy. Life must be more enjoyable at least having such an outlook

Trump's statement this morning made hostage videos look like Robin Williams stand-up sets.

He has no heart, no soul and no morals. Anyone who still supports him is 100% complicit with these acts of domestic terrorism, his inherent/non-repentant racism and destruction of our country.
 
Trump just told a crowd in WI that the media bears some blame for domestic terrorism that happened today. He is absolute evil.

Can we call it what it is? It’s an assassination attempt. Two former Presidents were sent working explosives. And the right is just OK with this and saying it’s a false flag operation? Is this really how far we’ve gone down?

This is fucking absurd. I am in a bad place with America right now, I’m really getting to the point where I think political violence is going to ramp up quickly. I used to think that America was on a higher level of civilization compared to other areas in the world. But it looks like large portions of the country want to be Erdogan and Turkey or similarl.
 
And all this is directed at the weak-as-shit milquetoast powerless Democratic Party, easily the most right-leaning leading "left" party in any major country. If you can invent hate and conspiracy theories surrounding these Dems, you can do it with anyone.

So what happens if the Dems actually push left and start implementing the popular policies our big-boy brethren already have -- but that will certainly piss off the right-wing media honchos and fearmongers even more?
