Shah $5 million gift

Still super weird to see RTQ called out like that in an official press release.

Thank you, Mit Shah!

Mit's commitment has many branches to it. Some will be facility / program focuses, but a significant portion is NIL related. That said, we have to continue to build a base that makes us sustainable over time. Every contribution matters. Mit has stepped up and we need the rest of Deacon nation to continue to follow his lead.

Lots of good options....monorail...biergartens....wellness coaches for players...big man coaches...seatbacks for all....those poofy seat cushions Lebron sits on...new giant video board with flashing lights that hurt your eyes...free parking....another motorcycle for Ms. Deacon to ride in on - only for the Duke game...a Biscuitville in the stadium....NIL earmarked for Clawson to help him out since he says we will 'never' have the talent of NC State (WTF?)....taller players since FSU could care less how much money we have, they just use the tallest guys to beat us...more Golf Carts....a Gulfstream or Cessna for Forbes....it's an endless list of opportunity!

Thanks MIT!
GTFO with Biscuitville - Bohangles is the clear answer

Thanks Basketball McCreary!

Humble inquiry: If there are OGB fantasy leagues/March Madness Pools/etc, why isn't RTQNIL a silent partner in 25% of the take every time?

This is awesome! Thank you to Mit for all he does for Wake athletics.

Thank you very much, Mit!!

Now it's time for others to step up and do their part.

... cue the stampede of ogboards.com posters closing browser window while turning on local NPR affiliate and sipping latte
This idea that you need to purchase the right to be a fan of your college team is honestly just so ridiculous.

If you’re passionate about drumming up support for RTQ, that’s fantastic. But attempting to shame people into donating (or donating more) is just not an effective strategy. Pointing out the benefits of donating in an enthusiastic way would work a lot better.

Now go thank Cathy Pace while you're at it.
Note she is retiring on January 1, 2025. So we can stop thanking her then and thank her successor....don't recall his name.

Time is running out!

Hope Stan Cotten doesn't have to go to a retirement party and miss Wake's bowl game at the end of the year.
This is easy. Have the retirement party AT Wake's CFP game.

Thank you Mit and Shah family! Guy attends every game and is a vocal fan who puts his money where his mouth is. I donate what I can to RTQ. You aren't paying to be a fan, you are a fan who knows the current market place requires money so you do your part. Much easier to be a fan of a winning team and this requires money nowadays.

How much money to the monorail, though?

Thanks Mit!
