There’s nothing wrong with saying this coaching staff has to earn back the fanbase’s trust with regard to how they evaluate internally and what they say externally. But I think they’ll do it.

True that! When you come out and say the 8 guys playing on the Oline are experienced and playing well and your QB who won the job is doing real well and expect minimal drop off, you expect a bowl season. Not to shit the bed, miss in QB totally, not play again the sub QB who beats Pitt for first time, and finish 4-8.

Honestly hadn't noticed CB was that banged-up of a position, if that gives you a sense of things.

It's also the one that you need two on the field at all times, three the majority of the time when factoring in the nickel position. So it was always more likely that WF was going to run thin at CB than, say, RB or QB, when it was doing the two-fields-at-a-time stuff.
