Steve Forbes credibility watch

At what point did you legitimately think we were winning that game?
We were down by 5 points with 31 seconds left and Damari missed an open 3 pointer. As we all know, he is very capable of hitting those and it could've been a 2 point game at the 30 second mark.

They NEVER took that game away entirely and we were always within reach. Yes they won, but let's stop acting like it was over halfway through the first half because it never was and it most definitely could have swung our direction if we had just two of our usual baskets that went in.

It was was within grasp and we couldn't close just like many other teams aren't able to at Cameron. Regardless, we absolutely had a chance

So just like all of our other important road baskets that didn't go in? Got it.

I think a better question is at what point did you legitimately think we were getting worked?
Duke had a working margin for almost the entirety of the second half. So pretty much the entire second half (in addition to most of the first).

We have 20+ years of history in Cameron, and every meaningful road game this season, from which to determine that we weren't winning that game if it was even remotely close. We needed to be up by 10+ for the majority of the game to even have a shot to hang on at the end like a cat on a screen door. If you look at that chart, combined with said history, and think that we were going to win, then I don't know what to tell you. The outcome of that game was never in doubt.
