Oregon having trouble in the desert for the 3rd straight season....that was a great TD catch by the Arizona State WR as he was being interfered with, to put them up by 14.

Ummm, the previous four weeks were 2 shutouts and 2 “squeakers” against ranked Florida and Auburn.
Unfortunately they don’t get to play Rutgers and Maryland.

Lincoln Reilly wears a shirt and hat both with Jumpman23 logo. Why not the swoosh for a football team.

Good point. And let's not forget the SEC power houses they faced in Vandy and Mizzou.

Three wins against teams ranked in the top 12 aren’t good wins ? If Florida had beaten Georgia would that have been a good win for them.

Is LSU’s 3-point home win over Auburn a good win ?
 
Since Sage's TD early in the third in Blacksburg, the Hokies have outscored their opponents 97-0. Credit Fuente and Foster for totally turning around a team that looked dead in the water in September. In retrospect, Duke's 45-10 win in Blacksburg looks like one of the most inexplicable results ever. Got to think the Hokies have the edge over a banged up UVA (Cavs have lost 5 DBs this season, including their best defensive player, Bryce Hall) on Friday. If VT wins the Coastal, while Clemson will win the ACCCG AGAIN, don't think it will be easy.

Because they don’t wear Nike - they wear Jordan Brand uniforms and apparel. Even though Jordan Brand is owned by Nike, they are different lines of the business.

What is Manny Diaz doing in Miami?

The Canes bookend wins over Pitt (on the road), FSU (on the road) and L'ville (by 25) with losses to Georgia Tech and dreadful FIU (FIU led 23-3). FIU lost to FAU by 30, MTSU scored 50 on FIU and WKU beat FIU.

Miami is the only team in the last 40 years to lose three games in one year as 14 or more point favorite.

Bad coaches find ways to lose to inferior teams.

Florida sucks. Wake could beat em, hope we play em in a bowl. Anyway, UGA is gonna get steamrolled in the SECCG and if they somehow still make the playoff, get steamrolled there too. LSU, Clemson, OSU are the only real ones this year.

Connelly said they’ve lost 4 games where their post win expectancy was over 70 percent. Last night they were over 90 percent. Baffling really.
 
Apropos of nothing, but that LSU win over Texas looks pretty meh these days.

I know Texas has been injury bitten, but they suck.
 
Gameday to Minnesota next Saturday.

The Power V schools that have not hosted Gameday dwindles to:

Cal
Kansas
Illinois
Rutgers
Maryland
Cuse
Duke
UVA
WF

4 of the 9 are ACC teams, and MD was in the ACC up until a few years ago.

I know you are a Gator, too... But UF doesn’t suck. They are definitely in the 3rd tier of teams, but tiers 1 and 2 are pretty small.

I don’t think this current Wake team would put up much of a fight against UF. Too many Wake injuries.
 
I was thinking of Brews. My bad.

UF would toast Wake in a bowl this year. No shame in that, though.
 
So if Clemson loses in the ACCCG and Georgia wins the SECCG, the SEC should get three teams.
 
Too bad there's not a MBB version of Herm Edwards for Wake to hire. I hated to see Oregon lose any realistic shot at the playoff but Herm was always a favorite on The Worldwide Leader. Hard to root against his team.
