UCONN is leaving the American Athletic Conference (where they haven't won a game since 2017) to join the Big East after this season, but the Big East doesn't offer BCS football; so, they are going to be a BCS independent in 2020. They have won 3 games over the last 2 years:

Wagner
UMASS
Rhode Island

Just a complete disaster. Wouldn't be surprised if they reclassified to the FCS level (where they wouldn't even be very good). UMASS should do the same, another complete mess.

Also, Syracuse lost their defensive coordinator, less than two weeks after hiring him. Zach Arnett was hired from San Diego State (who played great defense) on January 11, but he quit yesterday to take the DC job at Mississippi State. At this time a year ago, the impression was that the Syracuse football program was on the rise. Now they will be on their 4th DC in less than 4 months.

If UCan't and UMess drop down, Ryan McGhee may have to start including a designated ACC spot in his Bottom 10.

Miami QB Jarren Williams into the transfer portal. First domino following the transfer in of D'Eriq King.

Chase Brice visiting Dook and being reported as a grad transfer eligible in 2020

SEC bragging that each school is getting $44.6 Million this year from "Conference revenue, including that from the current TV deal, and expecting that to increase with the next, bigger, TV deal. Says the SEC is pulling away from the other P5 conferences except the B1G in the resource battle. [Reported by The Athletic].

Ogeron bragging that having the more than a dozen analysts and grad assistants was instrumental in helping LSU win the National Title.

ETA:

That puts LSU at about one adult per four players.

So is this a complaint about bragging in genreal or distaste with the amount of money in the game or did your stomach flip when you realized that you're going to need to increase your Deacon Club donation by about $5 million to help our team compete ?

regardless of where you stand on the money issues, it does seem to harm the long-term interests of college football for there to be such a stark resource difference between the haves and the have-nots

Pretty sure standard fan rules state you're only allowed to say we/our about one college football team... and your team certainly ain't Wake.

Damn. You used to get fired for losing to Wake Forest. Now they let you go after you beat Wake Forest !

That’s odd timing. You kinda have to go interim coach here or do we get a late carousel spin?
