The New Socialists

Those are arguably the two most significant bedrock policies of the Sanders presidential campaign

This is categorically untrue. Sanders's website is still up. You can take a look at his platform here. If you mean that they were the two most significant bedrock policies of the Sanders presidential campaign according to the media, then sure.

I mean want to address why the majority of DSA members are educated white people? or is that not true?

1) https://www.insidehighered.com/quicktakes/2020/04/10/bidens-new-student-loan-cancellation-plan

Link to his plan here.

2) https://www.npr.org/sections/health...economy-lower-medicares-eligibility-age-to-60

The former proposal is the concession; the latter proposal is already part of his platform

Just fyi, his means tested free tuition plan was floated a month ago and not part of Biden campaign's self-described "olive branch" to Sanders supporters.

I'm looking forward to your reply.
So wait a minute if Biden offers a concession a month ago after he pretty much effectively locked up the nomination that doesn't count? And lowering the Medicare age to 60 was absolutely something he just floated.

If you're going to call me out for not being accurate and precise with my comments, then no it doesn't.

ETA: In response to your edit, I posted that the 60+ expansion was the olive branch and you told me that I didn't know what I was talking about. Are you retracting that statement because it's clear that I do?

LOL. Okay I'm sorry they were two of the top four and the ones is campaign always harped on being popular when polled as a vague concept.

So arguably they were the two most significant Bedrock policies. If you're going to call me out for not being accurate and precise with my comments, and all

Sounds like the progressive wing has already made the unilateral decision not to recruited.

Any group that takes their votes off the board isn't going to have a say.

I'm sure you're being sarcastic, but you might want to check out the AOC interview that Townie posted in the other thread.

Which thread? AOC is going to play ball because as you pointed out, she's an elected official and she can't take her vote off the board.

i guess we'll never know

it's hard to whatabout when your guy won

No. Throughout this race, we've seen Bernie in all different positions. Between Iowa and Super Tuesday Part 2, Bernie was the leader for longer than Biden. His plan was to hold steady. Even going back to that article that came out in late Summer, Bernie's campaign manager said their strategy was to hold on to 30-35% of the delegates and win a large, fractured field. He never had a plan to attract more supporters.

The moderate wing of the Democratic Party is the wealthiest of any similar political group in the nation, most of whom were born into that social privledge. They have no desire to risk their wealth and privilege through economic reform, even if it keeps tens of millions in poverty.

Was that clearer for you?

Brasky, that's not an accurate take. Dem moderates are more likely to be minorities who were not born into social privilege.

Yep.

MHBDemon, Angry White Man

And yep.

Well, he just endorsed Joe Biden, so it might be time to forget about the past and move on with your life.

Bernard endorses Joe. DSA scratches head.

And Joe lauds Bernie at the same time. They can get along, but Bernie Bros/Sis can't...Hmmmmm

I would expect Obama to endorse Biden this week or early next week.

I hope Biden puts Inslee in a senior Cabinet position.

bernie bros aren't just playing fantasy sports with this stuff, guys

No, they aren't. Sports requires competition. Some win. Some lose. They want it to be only on their terms.

Unless there is a fantasy sports quidditch league. Then, I'd agree with you.

This is fascinating. So what will DSA do now?
