The tackle on Hendo wasn’t a red for me. I could see a simple foul given since the trail foot comes off the ground and does appear to clip Hendo, but even that is a stretch. The tackle pretty clearly was ball which forces his foot up higher. I’m sure the twitter stills will just be of that and not the full tackle.

Either way, Reds growing into the game.
 
Liverpool look the more likely to win, but West Ham’s counter is so good and dangerous. Fun game.

Thought both VAR decisions were correct, thought the foul on Salah was soft but it was there and he sold it well.
 
Very different styles:

West Ham: counterattack with pacy, dynamic running. score olimpicos

Liverpool: dive outside the box to set up free kicks
