Tour de France 23 Thread

Wanted to try to follow La Vuelta more closely this year and catch this guy Remco Evenepoel, but just now getting to it, stage 15.

Jumbo dominating, Sepp Kuss in the Red!

Unfortunately it doesn’t appear there’s an international feed for this one.

Tete de la course seems a little more elegant than Cabeza de carrera.

JV ripped the field apart 2 days ago and Remco lost almost 30 minutes. Remco is like Tadej in that he goes for intermediate sprint points. Over a 3 week tour I think these are a waste of energy and you risk a mountain blow up.

Did anyone see the release for the 2024 Tour? It starts with 4 days in Italy with a mountain day. Its apparently an anniversary for an Italian champ. Supposedly it will be the toughest route ever. And will be the 1st time ever to not end in Paris or even have Paris involved due to the Olympics starting 5 days after the tour finishes. Also the 1st time since the '80s that the final stage will be an individual time trial. Mark Cavendish has already started complaining about the fairness of the route as he seeks to break the stage victory record according to the BBC.
