Transgender Athletes

Good. I have an old friend who is Mormon in Utah. She has a bisexual daughter and she’s very active within the Mormon pro-LGBTQ+ community. I see some of the divide from following her advocacy. It’s pretty interesting.

oh yeah, women love working together

Fuck outta here. In my experience, almost all of the stereotypes about women in workplace are bullshit. They are more emotionally intelligent, they don’t avoid conflict, they get their shit done. They make better managers.

Obvious-like this RINO didn’t not git the memo ‘bout the secret putsch to overthrow traditional fambly values and turn everbody queer ‘n whutnot.

[good to see some compassion and sensible consideration from a Republican in leadership]

Yep. The stereotypes about women in the workplace stem from men shoehorning women into limited pathways to upward mobility. Instead of women competing with women and men, they’re stuck competing with just women for the women’s position.

whatever. then they want to have kids. fuck that.

100% this

'women can't get along' is just confirmation bias BS. not any different than other workplace conflicts. if there are toxic people, remove them.

Oh, I couldn't agree more. As a Guy who led an Organization that was 85% female, this was always my belief. Especially in the EI area. And while their "personal issues" always were more challenging and more frequent, it was understandable since they juggled 10x the shit that their male counterparts did. And almost to the person, they had great senses of humor and deferred the noise around them quite easily. It was always about getting the job done.

As I was reading this, I began questioning whether I watch too much pornography.

I don't know if this has been posted before, but this is a good thread about "biological"/"chromosomal"/"genetic"/"hormonal" sex and gender.

So you're saying that maybe I should be playing women's golf ?

It is fine with me if you want to play from the women's tee's; it is simpler than testing your chromosomes and Sry gene status.

Something that I hadn't considered was brought to my attention recently. Say there was a biological male nationally ranked boxer, who transitioned to female, and meeting the criteria set forth by the USIBA, decided to enter female boxing competitions. Would this person receive the same support we have seen for Lia Thomas? There is a safety issue that the competitors would face in boxing that is not present in swimming. Wrestling is a safer sport by comparison, because throws are controlled and a much less likely chance of concussion. It is not uncommon at the high school level for males to wrestle females, though female teams are becoming more and more popular. Boxing is an entirely different story.

I hadn't considered this before, and was stumped when the idea was presented. If transgender females were to be prevented from boxing biological female competition, would this be a slippery slope type scenario that would lead to division in all competitive colelgiate sports.

Apologies if this has been discussed previously, and apologies if I misstated the proper terms, my mistake is due to unfamiliarity not prejudice.
