Until we make a stupid play a minute or two later and they gain momentum and we fall apart.
I agree with Chris. It wasn't a matter of if we were going to fall apart, it was a matter of when.

The #1 most basic problem we have on offense is we have no one who score at all in the post. You don't need a tim Duncan or Shaq. You need someone who can get 8-12 points to keep them honest.
When this isn't the case teams can play the perimeter much tougher.
It takes away open shot. This makes getting the first step on a drive much harder.
The only way you have a chance when this is the case is if you have three qucik draw three point shooters.
This also a recipe for failure as when yolu lvie by the three pointer you die by it.
Rj, we had the exact opposite problem a couple of years ago - nobody who could hit an outside shot with any consistency. We had a number of guys with the ability to score inside, but teams would literally pack in 5 guys in the lane on defense. Teague, with his semi set shot was the closest we had to a shooter. Teams took away all drives to the basket, which really hurt teague, and there was no way to set up anything inside as teams refused to honor the guys on the perimeter. The MD game in the ACC Tourney was a prime example. We had wide open outside shot after wide open outside shot but couldn't hit anything. Everybody always talks about the feaux NBA players, but that team was flawed with it's lack of balance and was never destined to do much postseason.
