This really sucks. WF was the first to offer and got outworked by Cutcliffe. Greene is an incredible athlete who could have been a star WR at WFU.
 
Duke also just got commitments from stud 4 star RB zonovin knight and 3 star CB Isaiah kemp. Both recently visited us too. Frustrating to see us get out recruited by them every year, especially since our record and bowl games have been better than theirs the previous two years. Going to take time and more winning seasons.

With Green committing it might help us get Jordan Waters out of Fairmont. Which I much rather have
 
I have little worry that anybody is outworking our staff.
 
Sorry we didn’t get you boy. The program will continue on without him. We miss out on kids every year, all will be okay.
 
Maybe WF backed off because of his grades or his attitude. For whatever reason, Duke showed more interest. I would rather lose to any other school other than Duke.

3 Star, #63 WR nationally, #17 recruit in NC. This sucks any way you cut it. He was at Duke for the basketball game last night. Out BB program is pulling down our FB.
 
Does Duke have any QB's as freshmen or recruits who can throw?

This is a ridiculous assertion. Duke basketball has been better than Wake for decades, save for a brief period in the 90s. Our BB program is terrible right now, but please.

Sorry dude, but it’s true. The Duke BB program helps all Duke athletic programs. Our horrible BB program affects the perception of the school. Greene is a local and attended football and basketball games at both schools. He is a very good hoops player. The timing of his commit, right after the Duke win over UNC last night, makes it obvious that the passion of the students and good feeling of the campus after the win had an effect on him. WF has had one great home win in the last
4 years. It makes a difference to some recruits.

When Duke's football team was horrible (1990s and 2000s) the argument was that their basketball team hurt football recruiting because football recruits did not want to play second fiddle to the basketball team. There may be a tiny bit of truth in both directions (Duke basketball is both a positive and negative on football, depending on your perspective), but I think in general it makes very little difference.
