Thought about this exact thing this weekend & got into an awkward conversation with my father-in-law to be when he made the comment (oblivious to Wake's actual record) that Grobe was having an off-year when I mentioned the Deacs. He (and the people we were with) seemed shocked when I explained the implications of the CU game.

I know the season could have been much better with a couple of points here and there & nobody here is entirely satisfied with Shreveport... but I'll tell you one thing: I'll never take Wake's recent surge in football for granted. I'd rather see the Old Gold and Black in the Orange Bowl once a decade than see a big state school (VT included) waltz off with it every year.

Harris and McKie are quickly becoming two of my favorite Deacs of the past decade in their respective sports.

Really don't think people outside of WFU fans understand how big that game was. I have to explain it to everybody when we talk about the ACCCG. How clemson shouldn't even be in it because of some bad calls.

On another note, I think it'd be really odd to see a 7-5 team (if we won) in the ACCCG. But, I'd definitely love to see us there.
 
Screw everything I said... I should have gone to Nebraska and walked on to the basketball team. Holy crap... They would have never gotten that video clip of the empty locker room because I would have never left that glorious space (and certainly never considered putting clothes on).

Yeah, teenagers suck. It is going to suck balls when I have one. No way I keep my patience with him/her.
 
That's sad. How do 18 year old star basketball players have drama about high school girls?

And that's exactly why there shouldn't be drama.
 
CMM whining about not having any girls around makes sense since he's at an all boys school and PH must be about a million years removed from high school if he thinks jocks don't have drama with their women no matter how many they attract (and indeed, this is often the cause of the drama). yeah, i'm lecturing you about your own recruit
