Wake/VT 11/9 - 3:30 Kickoff, ACC Network

VT basically ran the option all night and Wake didn’t have an answer.

I hope Wake is never ranked 19th again.

Agree 100%. Made our coaches look like little league coaches. Beat in every phase of the game. Special teams coach needs to be replaced. Kick the ball in the endzone. We can't cover kick offs. Just a dismal job of preparation and execution
 
Let's go NC State. Seriously, it's been a very good year this year. Thought we needed to run the ball today and just couldn't get it done. Hinton and Boogie were really good today and probably earned some money at the next level

We physically can’t kick the ball into the end zone. It’s not a strategic choice to kick it to the 10 yard line when we have one of the worst coverage units in the country

^^^ there couldn't have been a worse time to play VT then today. Hooker is legit they played Willis earlier in the year he's horrible. Cold day in Blacksburg sold out crowd extra hyped. They had a great gameplan. On to the last 3 need to focus on going 2-1 and getting healthy.

Yes we were missing tackles but tech was getting angles. Their play calling was excellent.

We’ve been pretty much beating the crap out of everybody offensively so we clearly had no plan b.

We had some things taken away and didn’t adjust. Newman had time, we didn’t give them anything new.

We’re still good but our coaches got beat tonite as well as the kids.

It happens. So we’re not going to be ACC Champs or national playoff possibles. We are still fucking good, and we need to beat the crap out of duke and cause,

Looks like it wasn’t a bad game for me to miss most of at a wedding. 10 win season is still a possibility, lots left to play for. Survive next week and win the last 3.
 
Wake football having a great season, but playing one of the softest schedules in school history. Many home games and no non-conference toughies. Nest year is gonna be a bitch!

For those of you who ignorantly believe common opponents or the transitive property mean something this post is meaningful so everyone agrees not meaningful. Otherwise we would respond that we are not concerned with a Duke team that lost to a North Carolina team that we would have destroyed had we not taken our foot off the gas

I’m not sure why we don’t let someone other than Sciba get a shot at kickoffs. Maybe the other options can’t get it into the end zone either.

Not that I want to engage the bot in any sort of depth but I’m not saying the transitive property is law. But those who thought or think duke is some guaranteed cake walk W are mistaken. It is in fact possible we lose that game
